'The World is Obsessed with Facebook'

This little infographic has some interesting facts about Facebook and how much it is used, it states (in 2011) one in every 13 people have a facebook account, that seems huge, Facebook seems to continue to grow!

Just a thought for doing Primary research we could record our own time spent on Facebook or ask others how they spend time on it etc?

  1. So we could map our time spent on Facebook and ask others to do it as well and comparer them?

  3. I think I probably am guilty of spending over 6 hours a month on facebook...I don't know why it's just a way of procrastinating!

I've just been reading about the new facebook 'Home' which makes facebook the centre point on smartphones, I watched the advertisement for it and instantly thought it looks intrusive and unnecessary, do we really need facebook constantly there?

'Unless Facebook is careful, Home also could become a tiresome scold, a visual voicemail that keeps your eyes and ears even more glued to a screen where we all know we spend too much time already.'
