This section od the article about some of the positive aspects of social networking such as "...creating linkages and testimonials between friends and family members." The article dose go on to mention some of the downsides.
It's interesting to read about the positives of cyberculture, like where it says the internet can be used as 'a revolution of everyday life, and to increase the realm of freedom, community and empowerment'. The I've found texts which look at the negatives of the internet and technology but not as many positives.
ReplyDeleteI agree it seems that a lot of people like to focus on the negative sides and not mention the huge benefits that the internet has provided.
